Justin Timberlake has cancelled his one-off London show as he revealed his heath struggles.
The American singer was due to perform at The Roundhouse in Camden, but plans have derailed the intimate performance. He is currently in the middle of his music comeback for latest album Everything I Thought I Was. Justin took to his social media to share the update with his fans.
Speaking in a video, he said: "This is an unfortunate video I have to send out. But I'm sure you can tell from the sound of things that I am not going to be able to make it to the show on Friday, which I'm gutted about. I've been here in London all week and was so excited to perform Roundhouse. But… I've been battling some kind of bug and I thought it was getting better but it took a turn for the worse."
The Cry Me A River star will however make an appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Friday night. It was a pre-recorded episode but Justin revealed he "almost didn't make it" onto the show due to being ill. He revealed he was "able to power through" the episode. Justin will be doing a tour over the summer where he will come back to the UK.
During the tour, he will stop off at Birmingham, Manchester and London. The cancelled show comes after Justin released a new track Drown following on from the first single off the new album, Selfish. Earlier this month there were reports the star would be producing his own tell-all documentary.
Shawn Mendes, 24, fuels romance rumours with chiropractor, 51, at the GrammysThe *NSYNC star is said to be concerned his upcoming record will be overshadowed by Usher’s big Super Bowl comeback and Taylor Swift’s unexpected album, The Tortured Poets Department. One of his ideas includes producing a film about the upcoming album. It is hoped to echo the success of Beyonce’s Renaissance film and Taylor’s Miss Americana.
A source told us: “JT’s team are panicked after a lukewarm reception to his comeback single, Selfish. The competition is fierce and they are looking at ways to maximise exposure. He is currently in talks to do a docu. It’s not decided if he will talk about Britney Spears but they know how major that would be. Justin will produce it himself and Amazon has already expressed interest.”
Justin was reportedly considering an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey over his Britney Spears drama. The former "it" couple hit headlines when Britney opened up about their "turbulent" romance in her bombshell memoir The Woman In Me last year. The Sexyback singer is now said to be considering a tell-all chat with Oprah to share his version of events.
It came after Justin appeared to make a comment at his gig about Britney when he said he has nobody he needs to apologise to. During a performance, he was filmed telling the crowd: "I'd like to take this opportunity to apologise to absolutely f***ing nobody." Fans who attended the show took to social media to say he made the dig before singing his infamous break-up song about his relationship with Britney, Cry Me A River.
