Liverpool welcome Luton Town to Anfield on Wednesday evening as the Reds hope to continue their bid for a Premier League title.
Jurgen Klopp's side will have the opportunity to keep the pressure on rivals Manchester City and Arsenal by moving onto their 26th match of the season. However, supporters will not be able to see how they fare on British television.
With the match being brought forward three days due to Liverpool's participation in the Carabao Cup final this weekend, Premier League blackout rules mean that the Hatters' trip to Merseyside cannot be broadcast. The meeting was not originally set for broadcast by either Sky Sports or TNT Sports, which would have left it in a slot to feature at 3pm on Saturday. That would place the match during the nationwide TV football blackout.
Despite being moved to accommodate Liverpool's place in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley, neither broadcaster is now able to select it to be shown. This is due to the limited allocation each has in their deal with the Premier League.
Both TNT and Sky Sports will host football on Wednesday evening, however. Arsenal's trip to Porto will be shown in addition to Napoli vs Barcelona as TNT delivers this season's Champions League football. Meanwhile, Sky Sports will show the EFL Trophy semi-final between Bradford City and Wycombe Wanderers.

A similar scenario played out for Manchester City and Brentford on Tuesday evening. The teams were originally set to play on December 23rd but the Club World Cup commitments of Pep Guardiola's side ensured it was not considered when the broadcasters made their picks for the festive period.
