Lisa Armstrong has opened up about her heartbreak over the death of Strictly Come Dancing's Robin Windsor.
Lisa, who does all the makeup and hair on the BBC competition and has been doing it for 15 years, knew Robin extremely well as he was a part of the team from 2010 to 2014. After hearing the sad news that Robin had died at 44 years old, Lisa posted a message on Instagram.
She wrote: "Absolutely Devastated......" and put lots of broken heart emojis after the caption. She went on to say "Robin you were truly loved and will be truly missed!!.... RIP Bobby..." Lisa also posted an old professional photo of Robin smiling at the camera while rocking his on-stage costume.
Many people rushed to comment on her post to say they were sorry for her loss. One person wrote: "So sorry to hear about your friend hun. Sending you lots of love and hugs," while another said: "So very sorry to hear this sad news xx". Another follower wrote: "Thinking of all Robins friends and loved ones such a lovely guy," and finished with: "My condolences to you and Robin's friends and family. I loved him on Strictly. Hearing this news has stopped me in my tracks. God rest you Robin."
One fan shared: "He will be missed he was a good dancer and a funny guy especially when he was paired up with Lisa Riley he will be missed R.I.P @robinwindsor keep dancing with the angels." Denise Van Outen kept her feelings simple and poignant, sharing a broken heart emoji.

Having danced with Robin on Strictly Come Dancing during her stint on the show, the two developed a strong bond that lasted long after their foxtrots ended.
Lisa posted a tribute to Robin on her Instagram, complete with some snaps of them together. "My Bestie, My Robin, My Angel.......now our forever Angel, who is loved, will always be loved, forever in my heart......" stated Lisa. "My very broken heart. I love you, shine your beautiful, electric energy from heaven. SHINE IN PEACE."
The dance company where Robin Windsor showcased his mammoth talent, Burn The Floor, made the heartbreaking announcement of his death on Monday. Taking to Instagram to share the tragic news, those at Strictly tribute Robin as both an "exceptionally talented" professional dancer and "kind" human being as well as a "dear friend".
"The whole Strictly family are deeply saddened to hear the news about our dear friend Robin Windsor," the statement started. "He was not only an exceptionally talented dancer and choreographer but also a caring, considerate and kind person both on and off the dance floor."
