BBC Breakfast's Carol Kirkwood has shrugged off claims of a rift with Naga Munchetty and says their on-screen exchanges are just banter.
Viewers says they have picked up tension between the early morning pair.
Naga appeared to hit out at her co-star after an embarrassing name blunder live on air.
The weather regular handed back to Naga but she accidentally mispronounced her name.
Wrapping up her report, Carol said: “The winds will be lighter, just a few showers coming in from the north-west and temperatures ranging from nine to 13 degrees, Nana.”

“You say that every single time,” Naga jibed back, adding: “And I come and visit you and have a cup of tea.
Then, last month, Naga appeared to take a swipe at 60-year-old presenter's age - and called her “really stern” in a debate over the Christmas Day forecast.
Viewers rushed to social media to say they spotted real strain between the pair but Carol says it's just not like that.
“I love Naga and we just have banter," she said in an interview with The Sun.
"I love the camaraderie between us and everyone. It’s a good, fun job.”
Asked if she and the Strictly Come Dancing star get on, she responded: "We absolutely do."
Carol also opened up about her most horrifying blunder.
She accidentally said she had seen "lots of doggers" in a London park live on air - when she meant ' dogs and runners.
Carol says she is still mortified and went on: “That was the most embarrassing one - I think that's going to follow me for the rest of my life."
