Boucle jackets are one of the most timeless pieces you can have in your wardrobe and in 2024, this style is having a renaissance on the high street. While many styles usually come in classic hues like black or cream, River Island has launched this style gorgeous Chanel-inspired jacket in three gorgeous colourways that have us completely obsessed - our favourite being the pink.
The Boucle Crop Trophy Jacket is made with tweed bouclé material, giving it a super luxe feel, and features gorgeous embellished round gold buttons that contrasts the baby-pink colour, while the scarlet red and navy jackets feature black buttons. With a cropped fit, this jacket is simply perfect for spring and lends itself beautifully to being worn with a pair of jeans and pumps or a more swanky statement outfit like tailored trousers and heels. The £70 garment, which comes in a mix of cotton, polyester and viscose, is designed with a crew neckline, long sleeves and chic decorative pockets and comes in sizes six to 18.

"The boucle Jacket is the winner," said one fashion lover, while another wrote: "I love this cute jacket!"

The cropped jacket, named the Trophy jacket, has a gorgeous fit with square shoulders, giving your silhouette a more tailored look that is great if you want to add a bit of glamour to an otherwise casual outfit. River Island isn't the only high street store to jump on this trend, however.
Marks & Spencer went viral earlier this year for its pure cotton tweed jacket, £75, in black and ivory while H&M's £39.99 version sold out shortly after it lauched online. For a look that'd receive approval from Chanel herself, this Jolie Moi Contrast Trim Tweed jacket in oatmeal is £85 on John Lewis.
To be pretty in pink in River Island's new boucle jacket, however, get it here for £70.
