Our top picks on the high street including Molly Mae and Michelle Keegan outfits
If you're looking for a wradrobe refresh ahead of the spring season, or fancy yourself a could-be-designer bag for a fraction of the price, look no further.
Each week, The Mirror's Fashion and Beauty team pull together a round up of our top picks from the high street, and for this edition of Weekend Wishlist, we've found some seriously designer-coded accessories, celeb-approved styles and soon-to-be-well-outs that deserve a spot in your shopping bag (and ours).
We've trawled the new-in sections of your favourite high street retailers, snooped in the wardrobes of a-listers and happened upon some absolute bargains, too.
From River Island and Marks and Spencer, to Molly Mae's latest edit and Michelle Keegan's figure-hugging dress - here’s everything you need to scratch that retail therapy itch this weekend.
The blazer from PrettyLittleThing costs £39A is a real key piece in any wardrobe, and everything about this one from Molly Mae Hague’s edit has got me swooning (and yes, it came home with me). The gives it a softness that’s perfect for pairing with other neutrals, but doesn’t look out of place with black, either.

It offers a curved hem, while the strong shoulder pads give it structure and add all the chic vibes. I’m also a which are slightly flared with button detailing and give a gorgeous oversized feel to the piece.
The look starts at £12 and is entirely from Molly-Mae's collection (PrettyLittleThing)Molly styled this with a white t-shirt and the mom jeans from earlier, but for something a little more cocktail-ready, these and a pair of black heels are perfect with the underneath.

The £32 River Island piece is the ultimate 'jeans and a nice top' number (River Island)One half of your ‘jeans and a nice top’ formula, the hit the River Island website in recent days, and it’s a great alternative to blouses, bodysuits and shirts.
The pairing feminine silhouettes with tailored cuts. As a big fan of a power suit, women’s tailoring, and androgynous fashion, it gets a major thumbs-up from me.
It features a and decorative pockets, and looks stunning paired with jeans, skirts and tailored trousers.
But what’s more is that it’s also a dead-ringer for a similar top seen on Loose Women’s Frankie Bridge last month. The 35-year-old looked gorgeous in the Elliana Black Strapless Button Front Tailored Top from Club L London, which is twice the price at £65, styling the sophisticated top with a pair of River Island jeans.
Marks and Spencer Cotton Rich Denim Belted Trench Coat - £79
Marks and Spencer's £79 denim trench (M&S)The traditional cream/beige trench is having a real moment in 2024, and to find the best. But there’s a contemporary twist on the sophisticated coat that is coming for its crown - and it's made from the most unlikely fabric.
When I saw this new-in style from Marks and Spencer, I audibly gasped. Upon my eyes catching sight of the new-in Cotton Rich Denim Belted Trench Coat I knew this unconventional coat was going to be a bit of a marmite piece. It’s bold, daring and really makes a statement.
Combining the longline shape and smart double-breasted front of a trench with the relaxed and casual feel of your favourite pair of jeans, it's such a great way to update the style for the upcoming spring season. And if all the social media posts of Copenhagen Fashion Week are anything to go by, 90s denim is set to be a major theme in 2024, meaning this jacket could be the hero piece you didn’t know you needed to nail the hottest trends.
Molly Mae's baby name's very simple meaning as fans divided on Disney moniker
What’s more is that it looks so much more expensive than its £79 price tag, with keen attention to detail from the neat belt that cinches you in at the waist to create a flattering silhouette, to the cuff details on the sleeves and convenient side pockets for your essentials.
Plus, it’s a fraction of the price of similar styles from those ‘cool girl’ brands like , and

(Eve Rowlands)Fashion reporter to find some alternative Valentine’s looks and found a that will see you through the season of love and beyond.

Michelle Keegan’s Premium Knitted Midi Dress - £45
The dress can be styled a number of ways, depending on the occasion (Very)Michelle Keegan never fails to look incredible and always hits the mark with her fashion choices. This particular version of the dress is now only £15 down from £60 (River Island)January sales may be over, but that doesn’t mean that the deals are - and I’ve just found a on the River Island website.
The retailer’s was originally £60, but has been slashed to and is made for just about any event you find yourself invited to this year.
The features a white abstract squiggle design, and has seemingly only been reduced because the dress has been released in some new colourways and patterns for the new season. In fact, the of this slinky number - which is full price at £60 - made it into our
It’s been cut beautifully to accentuate curves, and the long sleeves make it look really classy, too. What’s more, is that it’s still available in all sizes from 6-18, though I imagine it won’t stay that way for long.
