Jeremy Vine was involved in a shocking incident in London as a football fan chased two men down a busy road while waving a crutch.
The BBC presenter was cycling along Fulham Road when he saw a bearded man wearing a black baseball cap cross the street in front of him while holding a metal crutch in the air. The man, who Vine named as 'George' in a video of the incident, was also shouting.
'George' was joined by a man wearing a Wolves scarf, with the incident happening close to Stamford Bridge, where the Midlands side were playing Chelsea. The man with the crutch confronted a group and then spotted two men further down the road who began to flee as 'George' moved towards them. He could be heard shouting "Wolves fan, f**k off bro" before calling the duo "f***ing p**fs".
'George' is seen chasing them for a short distance while waving the crutch before returning to a group of friends. He then handed the crutch back to one of the members of the group as they laughed.
Vine ended his video with the caption "not good", with the presenter later cycling back past the man having halted to watch the incident. He later revealed his hope that the police will investigate.

"It was a bit bizarre — running into the road waving his friend's crutch. But I've no doubt he wanted to assault someone and I hope the police trace him. Football violence is back in the news and it needs to stop," Vine told the Daily Mail.
It is unknown if the man was a Chelsea or Wolves fan. If he was a supporter of the Blues, he would have been left unhappy, as they fell to a humiliating 4-2 defeat, with boss Mauricio Pochettino blasting his side.
"So disappointed, apologise to the fans and thanks to those who stayed and supported the team until the end. We are sorry and we are disappointed. We started to play with a nervousness, made rash decisions, we need to reset," he told BBC Sport.
"We cannot go down, it is a tough moment, but it is a moment to be together and find solutions and try to help the team with our decisions. It is normal that we are not matching the history of the club. It is a different project and it is a matter of time."
A hat-trick from Matheus Cunha fired Wolves to a famous victory at Stamford Bridge. And boss Gary O'Neil was delighted with his side's impressive performance.

"It was a real good team performance and an enjoyable one for us, I can't lie. It's a talented group. I really enjoyed it and the lads deserve massive credit. We have comeback from setbacks a lot."
