Kyle Walker reportedly spent a fortune on a multi-million-pound mansion for his ex-girlfriend Lauryn Goodman to live with their two kids.
The Manchester City star, 33, has made headlines in recent months for betraying his wife Annie Kilner and fathering not one, but two secret love children with model Lauryn. The married couple announced earlier this month they had decided to hit pause on their marriage, with Annie wanting to take "time away" from their union.
Kyle welcomed a son called Kairo with Lauryn in 2020, during a brief split from his other half. Annie and Kyle then got back together and married in 2021 after he proposed with a £250,000 engagement ring. The England player went on to father a second child with Lauryn in 2023 and allegedly lived a double life with 'two families'.
Lauryn gave birth to a daughter in August 2023 and did not publicly disclose her second child's name, or the father's. Then earlier this month, Kyle confirmed he was the dad after Lauryn told of the exact moment she showed Annie a DNA test to prove it. "It had to be out in the open for all of our sakes," Lauryn said.
In a recent interview, Kyle discussed the painful consequences of his actions. He told The Sun: "I do and I don't regret it. I regret not telling [Annie] because she had a right to know and that's the least I owe my best friend. I don't regret it selfishly because I got to spend days with my children."
Walker hints at Guardiola contribution to Haaland's Man City strugglesBack in autumn, a source claimed Kyle forked out £2.5million on a five-bedroom mansion in an exclusive area of East Sussex for his ex Lauryn to live with their two children. The influencer was said to be "thrilled" with her new home and enjoyed renovating the property, splashing out £40,000 on bespoke curtains and blinds alone.
Lauryn, whose Instagram account is now private, hasn't disclosed any images of the house publicly. A source told The Sun in September: "Kyle has spent so much on this house. It cost a fortune. Lauryn is obviously pleased Kyle has finally done the right thing. She wants the kids to feel happy and secure." The source explained Lauryn had been living with her mum for a while, "with both kids cramped in one room" and it hadn't "been easy".
The source added: "It is an amazing house, she is thrilled. It's like something out of Footballers' Wives. It's massive." At the time, it was reported by the publication that Lauryn hadn't yet moved in. It's unknown if she has moved into the property since. The source claimed she had spent an "absolute fortune" making the place her own and worked with a "fancy interior designer". The luxury five-bedroom house reportedly has a large garden and terrace.
Around the time of the purchase, Kyle reportedly moved out of his house with Annie and into a penthouse flat in Manchester city centre following a string of 'blazing rows'. A source told MailOnline: "We don't see much of Kyle since she threw him out at the end of August... She was really angry with him and called him all sorts of names." In January, Kyle broke his silence regarding the split and said: "Annie is an amazing woman and I can only apologise for the upset I've caused her."
