Kerry Katona has no regrets following her recent painful surgery to banish an eye problem - and feels fantastic since undergoing the surgery.
Last week, the former Atomic Kitten star could barely open her eyes from a lift procedure as she left Merseyside's Pall Mall Medical Centre. The mum-of-five was operated on by Mr Ullas Raghavan, who specialises in ear, nose and throat, as well as plastic surgery.
Despite her soreness, Kerry appeared to be all smiles as she made her way out of the building to get a ride home as she was seen for the first time in public. Dressed in a long white trench coat, she could be seen carrying two Waitrose bags full of her belongings after recovering the op which required her to be placed under general anaesthetic.
Kerry has no regrets about undergoing the Blepharoplasty. The 43-year old first revealed last year she wanted work done to her eyes after noticing they had started to become 'heavy'. The star is no stranger to cosmetic procedures and has always been honest about the work she has had done to her.
Previously, Kerry explained she was 'entitled' to enhancing her look and hasn't held back since raking in millions after joining the subscription platformOnlyFans, which saw her bank balance rocket after years of turmoil.
Celeb psychic to Kerry Katona discovered she could see spirits after nan's deathOne week after being pictured with painful-looking eyelids, the mum-of-five has now taken to her weekly column to tell her fans that she's feeling fantastic amid the healing process is underway. Kerry revealed that the healing process is working much faster than she anticipated.
"I’m feeling amazing after my eyelift surgery and can’t believe how much it has healed already. As I write this, it’s only been eight days of recovery – and I’m still swollen – but it looks fantastic. I’m so glad I did it and can’t believe how much of an easy experience it has been," Kerry wrote in her OK! Magazine column.
"I’ve had other surgeries and had a tough time recovering but this is great. It’s definitely going to be worth it – I can’t wait until I’m fully recovered. I scratched my eye after the surgery, which is frustrating because it wouldn’t have been painful if I hadn’t done that, but it is what it is. I stayed at my mum’s for the first few days because I didn’t want DJ to see me all swollen, but now I’m back home – the kids were missing me."
Kerry went on to reveal that since undergoing the surgery, she's received positive feedback from most people - especially her eldest daughter, Molly, 22. "It’s been positive feedback so far. I FaceTimed Molly and she was impressed after being against it at first. I’ve not been able to do much exercise, so I’ve just been watching what I eat and have still lost more weight, which is good. I don’t have any regrets."
Earlier this month, in exclusive images shared with the Mirror, Kerry was seen under Mr Raghavan's knife, with her face marked at various points for him to make the necessary incisions to meet her demands. Once under general anaesthetic, Kerry's eyebrow was seen being sliced open and then pinned back to lift her eyes.
Her eyelid was then cut open, raised and then pulled back in order to give her a more youthful appearance. According to Pall Mall, people often take two weeks off work to recover from the procedure and will not be able to drive for several days. However, the bruising and redness may take several weeks to fade and the scarring could be tight for several months.
