A teenage girl is missing after she left home wearing only her pyjamas after suffering a suspected mental health breakdown.
Hydi Cain, 16, from Georgia vanished in the early hours January 7 from her home near Atlanta following a 'psychotic episode', according to a missing poster issued for the youngster. She is described as having 'blonde-red' hair, hazel eyes, 5ft 1in tall and weighing 130 pounds.
The City of Fayetteville Department of Public Safety indicated on Saturday that she may have dyed her hair black since disappearing. While Fayetteville Police have launched a search for her saying that Hydi was last seen wearing just her nightwear and no shoes.

Hydi's mum, Sidney Fyffe also put up missing posters around town in desperate attempt to find her daughter, indicating that she is suffering from mental health issues. It read: "Hydi has been missing since 1/7/24 after a psychotic episode. She is in grave danger. If you seen her call 911 or the number below immediately: 404.4459123."
Fears have been raised over the teen's safety (Facebook)Last week the distraught mum shared a heartfelt post of Facebook. She said: "Being a parent of an almost adult is the hardest thing I have ever done. They think they know what is out there. But they don’t, Y'all please help me bring my daughter home safe. Police are involved, but there is still no word on her whereabouts, and her mom and little sister are worried sick."
One person, who appeared to know Hydi, replied: "I'm so sorry to read this! I got to know Hydi while working with the youth group at church. She's such a sweet girl!! I'm praying she is found safe." While another shared their support and added: "Praying she's found safely. Hopefully just a teenager acting tough, as they often do. Hang in there. Will keep praying."
