Lindsay Lohan's dad is now cancer free, but it may not last forever.
Michael Lohan was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma about four years ago and constantly monitors his health status. A "suspicious lesion" appeared on Michael's hand which called for treatment as soon as possible. Luckily, the doctors were on top of it. On Wednesday, Michael was able to go into the doctor's and get everything patched up.
Pictures show what his hand looked up before and after. The lesion was on the back of his hand, front and center. After it was cut out, Michael's hand was sewed back up with some stitches, pulling together the loose skin.

His lesion was cut out of his hand (Michael Lohan/Instagram)Michael told TMZ about the procedure, explaining that the cancer he's battling is "aggressive." This time around, despite its "deep roots," the cancer was able to get fully removed, but there's a high chance it'll return.

He wrote on Instagram: "Never be ashamed of the scars life has left you with. A scar means the hurt is over, the wound is closed, you endured the pain, and God has healed you."
Reportedly, Michael didn't clue his daughter Lindsay in on what was going on as not to worry her. He did, however, tell his son Michael Jr., making him the only one aware of the medical procedure before he went public about it. After all, his daughter has been very busy lately as she made an appearance in New York ahead of the new Mean Girls movie premiere.
He kept his daughter out of the loop during the procedure (GC Images)Lindsay met up with co-star Tina Fey for a reunion on the carpet which also welcome some budding actors to the cast. She looked youthful and powerful as she welcomed her old friend.
Fans sent Michael love on Instagram. In the comments, one wrote: "Praying for your complete healing, Michael, in Jesus name, amen!"
Michael answered the fan. He replied: "Thank you. Yes. He got it all but it had deep roots and I have aggressive/ invasive type. It WILL come back at some time in a different part but have to monitor. They want me back in 3 weeks. God is GOoD."
