Her upload was instantly liked thousands of times with celebrity friends flocking to the comment section to congratulate the couple. Now, Oti's older sister, Motsi, 42, has sent her warm wishes. Sharing a selfie of them both to her Instagram Stories, the South African dancer who sits as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing penned: "Nobody teaches you how to be an older sister and even though my sister is a mom the instinct to help, to protect and be there doesn't stop.

"I want to protect her from everything but I know I can't. Sometimes I wish I wasn't the first born because I think you inherit the responsibility. So so proud of you sis. You are going to be a fierce mom." Oti had previously revealed she and Marius had been "trying to conceive for a while", announcing on her Oti Mabyse Breakfast Show in August that they were expecting their first child.

Addressing the cameras, she said: "Speaking of things that you didn't know at home, we have a little something for all of you, we've been holding some good news. We're having a baby!" She went on to say her "beautiful journey" is "nearly over", joking that "Christmas is about to get even louder".

Sharing the news with her Instagram fans, Oti revealed: "Our 'yes' year is getting better and better and so is our little family. We feel finally ready and excited to share our wonderful news. This is new for us scarier than swimming with sharks, jumping off cliffs or even swinging from bridges but the best news we could have ever ask for."

One clip showed Oti sharing the news with Motsi as she struggled to contain her emotions over the delightful news. Meanwhile, the former Strictly star admitted that it "all got too much" while she and Marius were trying to start a family.
