AJ McLean has opened up about his "stripped-back" Christmas plans ahead of the festive period.
The former singer-come-TV host exclusively spoke to The Mirror about his Christmas plans with both the Backstreet Boys and his family, revealing that we may hear from the 90s boyband before the end of the year.
He told us: "Well last year we put out our very first ever Backstreet Boys Christmas album, we've never had one in 30 years. So that album will be released again this year."

Despite their plans to re-release music, AJ insisted that a Backstreet Boys reunion might not be on the cards, despite desperate calls from fans. The popular 90s boy band, made up of AJ, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough and cousins Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson rose to fame with hits like Backstreet's Back Alright, I Want It That Way and As Long As You Love Me, but sadly split in 2006.
Peter Andre left redfaced during naked sauna incident with Backstreet BoysAJ confessed that the band are "taking space from each other", meaning a tour isn't on the cards anytime soon. He told The Mirror: "Backstreet are taking a well needed break."
"We're taking about a year off, we have a couple of one off things coming up," he added. "We have our Cancun trip coming up next April, which essentially is like the Backstreet Boys cruise, except now it's a destination. So there's no boat involved. Now that we're taking a break, we're giving each other the space to do our own things.”
AJ then admitted that his plans for his family will be "simple" this year, but despite downsizing on the amount of trees in his home, he's still planning on going all out for his daughters Elliott, 10 and Lyric, five. He said: "It's just going to be a simple holiday this year.
"We have downsized the amount of trees but this year is not about the grownups. This is all about my daughters."
AJ added: "It's a pretty easy Christmas. And then we'll see whatever Santa's decides to bring as well. Daddy's already done all his Christmas shopping. I started back the end of October!"
