Rival promoters Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren put their longtime feud aside by shaking hands in public for the first time.

Matchroom Boxing boss Hearn and Queensbury Promotions head Warren are working together for the first time on Saturday night's 'Day of Reckoning' event in Saudi Arabia. Anthony Joshua takes on Otto Wallin in the main event with the hopes of setting up a fight against Deontay Wilder, who is in action against Joseph Parker in the chief support bout.

Warren is promoting the likes of Daniel Dubois in his fight against Jarrell Miller and Ellis Zorro in his world title clash with Jai Opetaia on the blockbuster card. Hearn and Warren shook hands when they both took to the stage for the press conference on Thursday evening and fans have since reacted to the promoters coming together.

"Years of mouthing off at one another from afar, all out the window now," another user wrote. "This is like when you have that guy you know from an opposing school and you just hate him. Then you randomly meet one day you actually see him being your best pal," a final comment read.

Joshua is looking for his third win in three fights this year after beating Jermaine Franklin in April and knocking out Robert Helenius in August. 'AJ' is working with his fourth trainer in the past two years having split with Robert McCracken, Robert Garcia and most recently Derrick James after beating Helenius.

Wallin has only tasted defeat to Tyson Fury in his professional career in a fight that easily could have gone his way after Fury suffered a nasty cut above his eye. The Swede, who is unbeaten in his past six fights, started playing mind games with Joshua earlier this week by changing his stance from southpaw to orthodox for the open workouts.
