Strictly star Amy Dowden and a host of celebrities are urging fans to take Lorraine Kelly and the Change + Check Choir’s charity single to Christmas No 1.

Golden features Joss Stone, as well as the 20-strong choir of women who discovered their breast cancer diagnosis after seeing the campaign on Lorraine’s ITV daytime show. It is also dedicated to Lorraine producer Hannah Hawkins, who recently passed away from breast cancer, aged 33.

Lorraine said: “I’m so proud of my amazing team and wonderful choir who have made this possible and of course huge thanks to Joss Stone and our brilliant songwriters. Most of all, my thanks to Hannah our fantastic producer who was taken from us with secondary breast cancer far too soon. This is Hannah’s song and dedicated to her and her fantastic husband Tom and their baby Rory.”

Amy, who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer, sent a special video message to the choir and urged viewers to download the single to get it to the top spot this Christmas. She said: “I absolutely admire each and every one of you. Thank you so much for all that you have done .”
