Netflix is gearing up to drop a gripping new mystery series to kick off the new year with a bang. After the festive dust has settled, audiences can dive into the new thriller Fool Me Once, the latest TV adaptation from master mystery writer Harlan Coben.

The limited series is adapted from Coben’s 2016 novel of the same name and will be the eighth on-screen adaptation of his work through an on-going partnership with Netflix. It sees the best-selling American author continue his work with local screenwriters from around the world to bring his novels to life on screen – so far across four languages – and follows 2021’s The Innocent and Stay Close.

As with previous Coben adaptations, Fool Me Once will feature plenty of unpredictable twists and turns, while its story is relocated from the US to the UK. Speaking to Netflix ahead of the show’s launch, Coben described the series as a “pulse-pounder”.
