ITV's Britain Got Talent star Amanda Holden has showed off her incredible festive home, after opening the doors to her mansion to her Instagram followers.
The 52-year-old has recently forked out £7m for the gorgeous property, set in the affluent village of Cobham - home to many a famous face. After moving out of her £5m London home, she's ditched her plans to move to the US in favour of Surrey and has made sure she's gone all out with the decorations for the first Christmas in her new home.
In the short clip, a huge wreath adorns the entrance of the home, before the door is thrown open, with a beautiful sparkling Christmas tree filling the room. In a traditional red and cold colour scheme, red velvet bows were lit with fairy lights, leading up to a staircase decorated with wintry foliage and bright berries.
A star stood on top of a grand piano, while Amanda posed in a hot pink pyjama set as she sat on the stairs. She waved and smiled to the camera, the whole room lit by a luxurious chandelier hanging over the opulent hallway. Amanda's followers loved her decorated home, rushing to the comments to praise her.
Pal and fellow celeb Alan Carr replied: "Can’t wait to visit!!!!" While a fan commented: "Ohhh hun it’s perfect." Another wrote: "That is a very stylish Xmas tree," with a fourth adding: "Oh my gosh that's absolutely wonderful!"
Amanda Holden among stars fronting Comic Relief as Red Nose has 'makeover'Amanda lives with her husband of 20 years Chris Hughes - the pair recently celebrated their anniversary. The BGT judge wrote: "15 years ago today, I married my best friend. 20 years together. 2 Girls. An angel boy and we have made a beautiful life together!!! ( having said everything above, we still bicker every day) #anniversary."
Speaking to OK! Magazine recently, Amanda revealed how the couple have made it to 20 years, giving the coveted secret to a happy marriage. She said: "The main secret behind a successful marriage is to have a bloody good sense of humour! Plus, I really fancy Chris. We'll be eating dinner in a restaurant, he'll go to the loo, then I'll look up and catch a glimpse of a man and think he's fit! Then I'll realise, 'Gosh, that's my husband!' I still fancy him."
She also discussed the topic with HELLO! in 2019: "Chris is very funny and errs on the side of lightness. We can make jokes out of any situation throughout the best and darkest times of our lives." Amanda shared: "He's rubbish at romance, but he's there for the solid things such as keeping my car clean and making sure I relax."
