The final Thunderball for tonight's will be drawn "shortly" following the earlier malfunction in one of the machines, a spokesperson for Camelot has told the Mirror.
While the machine drawing the main numbers worked correctly, the second Thunderball machine did not draw a ball - and they confirmed that a new Thunderball machine will be used to draw this ball.
A Camelot spokesperson said: “The first five main Thunderball numbers were drawn successfully in tonight’s draw. However, when we switched over to the Thunderball machine to draw the Thunderball itself, the machine malfunctioned and no ball was drawn.
"We’ve therefore taken that machine out of rotation while we look into what went wrong with it, and are bringing in an alternative Thunderball machine to draw the final number and successfully complete the draw.
"As always, this entire process is being carried out in the presence of an independent adjudicator.”
While we're still awaiting confirmation from Camelot as to what happened during tonight's Thunderball draw, it appeared from the live stream that the very final ball - the 'Thunderball' - did not display at the top of the machine as expected.
The draw was taken off-air shortly afterwards.
