Jon Rahm's move to LIV Golf shocked the golf landscape as the Spaniard will be the latest high-profile golfer to have switched from the PGA Tour to the Saudi Arabian-backed side in a deal worth a reported £450million.
Furthermore, Rahm is set to receive a guaranteed fee of £240m for a five-year commitment to LIV. That is double what former World No. 1 Dustin Johnson received and triple what Brooks Koepka was given when they left the PGA Tour for LIV in 2021.
Rahm will also get a stake in his town team, which could be worth an additional £200m. For reference, the money Rahm will be making with LIV is about twice as much as 15-time major winner Tiger Woods has made from competition wins.
