No wonder Nigel Farage is laughing - as most Mirror readers are still backing him to be crowned King of the Jungle in ITV's I'm A Celeb final this Sunday.

Thousands of you have been frantically voting in our poll of who they'd most like to win I'm A Celebrity, with the former UKIP leader streaking ahead with 3,527 votes. In second place is TV personality and radio presenter Sam Thompson with 2,128 votes, while TV star and Big Brother winner Josie Gibson is third with 1,960 votes.

Heading up the chasing pack is former pro-boxer Tony Bellew on 1,663 votes, followed by EastEnders star Danielle Harold on 602 votes and finally JLS star Marvin Humes on 451. The results of our poll may come as a surprise as more than a thousand people wrote to ITV in a bid to remove Farage from the line-up. This was encouraged by campaign group Best for Britain who urged the public to switch-off the show in protest.

But our poll results don't follow the bookies favourites. According to Ladbrokes, Tony and Sam are fiercely battling it out to become the King of the Jungle, with the latter pulling away from the pack at just 8/13 to win. Boxer Tony Bellew - or Teddy T as he's become affectionatly known in camp - is not far behind at 3/1, while Josie Gibson's price has fallen to 6/1. Nigel Farage is 10/1 to upset proceedings.

Many Mirror readers are backing Farage to pull it off, with one penning: "Nigel Farage gets my vote to win," while another said: "In view of ITV executives air brushing Nigel Farage's air time on the show, I propose we double all of our efforts to vote Nigel Farage to WIN!"

One person added: "Would love to see Nige win as it would upset all the right kind of people," while another echoed: "Nigel Farage needs to win #ImACeleb just to shut up these luvvies up. Offence is their badge of honour."

There's also a lot of love for Sam and Josie, with one reader saying: "Josie has to win this she’s so iconic." Another agreed: "I'm just watching last night's #ImACelebrity crying with laughter. #Josie to win."

A third user shared: "For me it’s Sam or Josie to win Im a Celeb at the moment! They are pure entertainment every time they are on my screen."

You can still vote in the poll to let us know who you think should win this year’s I’m A Celeb. Do you agree with the results? .

NOTE: The poll is still live, so these results may change after the article has been published.
