Artificial Intelligence has impacted the entertainment industry with fake movie posters, inserting yourself into a Disney film, or AI covers of famous songs sung by other singers.

But fans of Nicki Minaj have taken it to the next level. They created a whole city.

Nicki announced that her next album, Pink Friday 2, will be out this Friday, December 8. She released the album cover, which showed the Super Bass rapper standing on what looked to be a pink subway platform above pink clouds and a pink-tinted city.

Her fans, lovingly called the Barbz, decided that the city below her on the album cover was named Gag City, a play on the word "gagged," which can be used to describe something, usually a celebrity, as amazing or stunning. After Gag City was named, fans were left wondering what the city could possibly look like, so they turned to AI.

Twitter is a-buzz with different AI creations of the city, with all the buildings tinted pink and its citizens in Nicki's signature pink bobbed wig. Fans have even gone so far as to ask AI to create spas, radio halls, and marijuana dispensaries that are presumably used to boost the city's economy.

If that wasn't enough, fans are asking AI to create what it would look like when other celebrities visit Gag City, like Michael Jackson or Ariana Grande. For Ariana's arrival, a bright pink helicopter lands that's equipped with Ariana's signature ponytail.

Other tweets include AI images of "Nicki Minaj is giving away free CDs to the poor on the outskirts of Gag City" and "Nicki will be giving her 'I Had a Gag' speech tomorrow ahead of pink friday 2 release," the latter parodying Martin Luther King Jr's I Have A Dream speech.

Pink Friday 2 will be Nicki's fifth studio album release. It includes songs like Super Freaky Girl, which sampled Rick James' Super Freak and went viral on TikTok. The original Pink Friday album was released in 2010 and included some of her first hits like Super Bass and Moment 4 Life.

The previous album released last year was Queen Radio: Volume 1, which was a greatest hits album. Before that, her last album was Queen which was released in 2018.
