A father was robbed and fatally gunned down outside his home right as he was getting off work.
The killing has left a two-year-old without a father and a family hundreds of miles from the support of their loved ones or a familiar face. Marco Antonio Hernandez was ambushed outside his home by two or three robbers in Houston Texas on Wednesday afternoon, according to local authorities.
Investigators said the father had just arrived back from his job as a construction worker. The family, who are originally from Honduras, moved to Houston several years ago to pursue a new life

A memorial was set up by friends and family of Hernandez in his home in Remington Ranch on Thursday night. A GoFundMe has been launched by his friends and family to raise enough money to return him to his home country of Honduras where he can be laid to rest.
His wife is heartbroken by the tragedy (abc13)Elsa described Hernandez as her "happiness" and she stated she desperately wants justice for her husband. A friend of Hernandez', Alexander Olivia, told ABC13 that his life had been taken unjustly.
A passer-by found Hernandez lying down in the front yard of his home at about 2.30pm on Wednesday and raised the alarm. No suspect information has yet to be released.

Hernandez son has been left without a father (abc13)It comes as several people were stabbed in New York which resulted in the knifeman being gunned down by police. On Sunday the NYPD confirmed it had attended an address in Queens and discovered four people dead - two just 11 and 12 years old.
The victims' names haven't been released yet, but the police have confirmed their ages and genders: a 12-year-old boy, a 44-year-old woman, a man in his 30s, and an 11-year-old girl. Another victim, a 61-year-old woman, was rushed to hospital with multiple stab wounds.
A tribute has been set up in the family's home (abc13)The knifeman was seen leaving the property when police arrived and attacked them when confronted. A fifth person was found in the house with critical injuries and is fighting for their life in hospital. The knifeman was fatally shot by police.
The scene was described as "chaos" with a "madman on a rampage" and police were praised for their efforts in stopping the suspect from committing further harm.
