An air fryer fan has wowed foodies after sharing their go-to recipe for 'Brie crisps', which look to be a delightfully more-ish snack for the festive season.
One of the best parts of Christmas has to be enjoying plenty of lovely food with friends and family, ideally paired with plenty of games and a roaring log fire. For cheese lovers, this is a particularly satisfying time of year, given that it's practically the law to enjoy at least one deliciously pungent board before the big day.
Brie is of course a classic staple of the festive cheeseboard, and is said to be extremely moreish in crisp form.
The savvy content creator, who regularly shares food tips hacks under the TikTok username @thisisplanetfood, recently demonstrated their 'Brie crisps' recipe to the delight of tempted followers, and it couldn't be any easier to try for yourself. In a video that has since clocked up more than 36.1K likes and counting, they began by slicing the rinds off a block of President Brie Cheese, placing these into an air fryer that had been sprayed with 'a little oil'.
These creamy rinds were then seasoned to taste with plenty of salt and pepper and air-fried for eight to 10 minutes at 200 degrees until beautifully 'crispy and golden'. Once dished out, the finished dish looked perfect for sharing, ideal for a cosy movie night in or as part of a Christmas Eve buffet.

The TikToker served their crisps with a little pot of chill jam, advising that honey or cranberry sauce would also do the trick, and declared them to be 'so good'. Followers were left practically salivating over the vid, with one admiring person commenting: "Sweet Jaysous, these look b***** mouth-watering!" Another approved: "Oh that's on the Christmas nibblies list for definite." A third person wrote: "I'm all in for this! Off I pop to the supermarket."
This helpful hack comes after another TikToker shared their secret to getting the perfect batch of 12 mince pies in the air fryer in under 30 minutes, using just four simple ingredients in the process. With festive foodie plans now well underway, it's certainly beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
