It’s been such a good few days in the camp and great to see all the campmates starting to really come out of their shells.

It’s a shame Jamie Lynn Spears left as she was seeming like she was starting to get a lot closer to everyone and open up about a lot of things, but she was struggling a lot with the rain and being away from her kids so I think she actually did well to last as long as she did. She stayed longer than I thought she would.

Sam Thompson is Camp Leader and loving it, luckily everyone seems to enjoy his energy, but as people get more and more hungry and tired I still think he might begin to rub people up the wrong way. He is clearly absolutely loving being in the jungle with Tony Bellew, and Tony is handling it pretty well and keeping his cool, but there are moments where it does feel a little bit OTT like when he jumps on him for a hug and stuff.

But it was ace to see the lads having some fun in the sun today having a swim in the creek. The rain has been relentless this year and there is nothing worse than all your stuff being soaked! Here's my take on the rest of the jungle drama...

Trial tensions

The challenge with the barber shop was a bit of a mess, poor Josie had to stop early but, to be fair, she has a real phobia of spiders so it was a bit harsh she was voted for it. It actually ended up being the best thing that could happen as she was the one who came up with the idea for one person to put the stars together like a puzzle and pass them down the line, otherwise they might have only had one star for dinner.

It's nice to see Nick Pickard and Marvin Humes doing a bit more in camp and Nick smashed his trial – that massive snake in his tank was the biggest one I think I’ve ever seen on the show and it was pretty aggressive too – so he did amazing getting all his stars. It's so lucky he swims a lot as he could hold his breath for ages too.

Nigel Farage obviously completely failed his and, in a way, it was not a bad thing for him to feel like he isn’t invincible. He was getting a little bit too big for his boots in camp and being a bit bossy so it seems to have taken him down a peg or two.

Trouble in camp

Fred Sirieix is getting on people's nerves a bit with his cleanliness comments and he needs to realise he is in the jungle and not in a kitchen. He is doing a great job of cooking but I can’t believe he accidentally threw the stock cubes in the fire! He could start falling out with people soon if he doesn’t calm down a bit about the pot washing stuff.

Nella Rose has been having more tricky conversations with Nigel – I think she will always have strong views and so long as she always ends them by agreeing to disagree, which at the moment she does, then it's fine for her to say how she feels about things. She seems happier since having a bit of a break from the trials, too.

Elimination predictions

Tony is smashing it and is so supportive of everyone, he is really nice with the girls and is always checking in to see if they are ok, I think he will go really far in this and is going down well with viewers. Danielle Harold is a very strong campmate and her and Josie have become super close.

I think she will come maybe fourth – at the minute I can see Josie, Sam and Tony as top three. Frankie Dettori is pretty dull and he isn’t getting loads and loads of airtime at the minute so I think he might go early.

It will be interesting to see what happens over the weekend!
