Kate Abdo jokingly questioned Jamie Carragher's talent after the former Liverpool man revealed Jude Bellingham could make a guest appearance on CBS Sports.
The Sky Sports pundit was doing his usual Champions League duties alongside Micah Richards and Thierry Henry with Abdo presenting. The quartet's banter on the show has been well documented and the female anchor has delivered another sharp comment.
Bellingham became the topic of conversation after inspiring Real Madrid to another win on Wednesday. Carragher said he understood that the midfielder was a fan of the show and could make an appearance - but only wanted to work with him and Richards.
Carragher explained that Bellingham "wanted to work with the talent, not the presenter". Abdo laughed before hitting back with: "That discounts you".
Bellingham has long been hailed as a man whose persona defies his tender age. In previous interviews he's been extremely articulate and engaging and his early success in Spain has only served to heighten his profile. He scored once again in their 4-2 win over Napoli at the Bernabeu.
Klopp's dream Liverpool line up as last-gasp January transfers rejectedThe former Birmingham City man headed home a cross after 22 minutes to become the first Los Blancos player to score in his first four Champions League games. It now means he has scored 15 times in 16 games since making a summer switch from Borussia Dortmund.
Real manager Carlo Ancelotti told Movistar Plus: "He's spectacular in getting into the box, he comes into the box like a motorbike. It's surprising because nobody could have imagined such fast adaptation here, to this club and the football he is showing. He surprises the fans, team mates and even rivals."
On his own goalscoring exploits Bellingham said: "It is not bad, it is important that I keep going and try and help the team win trophies come the end of the season, not at the start. All the games are just as important and it's important I keep my feet on the ground."
He added: "Really important for us to keep the momentum going, keep winning games, getting into the habit of winning at home, especially when we face adversity and setbacks so there's no better feeling."
