Men Behaving Badly actor Neil Morrissey has hinted at regret over his affair with Britain's Got Talent's Amanda Holden, which led to the end of her marriage to Les Dennis.
The TV stars' brief fling was exposed in 2000 and Neil spoke about it last week on his Line Of Duty co-star Martin Compston's podcast, Restless Natives.
When asked to share three pieces of life advice with listeners, he said: "Don't p*** into the wind. A gentleman's socks should always match his shoes." He concluded with: "Don't f*** a game show host's wife." causing Martin to burst out laughing.
Amanda fell for Les in 1993 when she was 22 and he was 40, while they were both appearing in a production of The Sound Of Music. They married two years later, but it ended when her affair with Neil was revealed in 2000.

She confessed: "I found the fall from grace incredibly hard to deal with. I can't bear not to be liked. Then I had an affair and overnight turned into this awful person."
"There are no hard feelings with Les. I wish him the best, but we've both moved on. I don't believe women have affairs for no reason. Women don't seek sex we seek love and affirmation."
Neil has spoken about the affair before. He mentioned it in 2014 on Piers Morgan's Life Stories. He said: "There were some hateful things that were said in the papers but you know how it turns out - it should be tomorrow's fish and chip paper. But people are still going on about it."
Amanda is now happily wedded to TV producer Chris Hughes, and they have two daughters, Lexi and Hollie. Neil was once married to actress Amanda Noar, but they split in 1991.
