Amazon's Black Friday sale has meant price drops on lots of goods for a whole week - from huge discounts on tech to bargain beauty buys. Cyber Monday signals that that this major shopping event is coming to a close, but if you haven't had time to snap up a deal, you can still get involved as offers are available to shop at the online retailer until midnight on November 27.
One item that you certainly won't want to miss while it's on sale is a home essential that could see you saving money on your energy bill. The Silentnight Comfort Control King Size Electric Blanket is usually £42.99, but for this limited time, it has been reduced to £30.
Money-saving expert Martin Lewis has recommend using electric throws to avoid using the heating through winter, and the Silentnight Comfort Control has been praised by over 14,000 five-star reviewers who say it is "perfect for this weather", as it "makes the bed cosy and warm", while costing "4p an hour to run."
A big advantage the Silentnight Comfort Control King Size Electric Blanket has over alternatives is the dual control feature which allows two users to enjoy differing temperatures at the same time. One happy customer explained: "My wife feels the cold much more than me during the night so having a single control one was not really an option. This duel control one is great as it has three heat temperatures so I can set my half to one and my wife sets hers to three. It warms the bed up nicely before we get in and stays warm all night."
Another shopper added: "The twin electrical heating controls are very cleverly designed so that the switch has an 'off' position at both ends of the slider control on/off switch - so no fiddling around in the dark to slide it up or down," and a third said it's, "such a game changer during the cold winters, especially when fuel prices have been so high. Much cheaper than the heating!"
Amazon Spring Sale day three deals: 26% off a Ninja airfryer - if you're quick! The snuggly fleece electric blanket that is "like being cuddled by a warm croissant," has straps that easily attach it to any mattress and it's machine-washable. However, it has been recommended that you buy a blanket that is one size-up if you want it to fit across the entire bed.
Lakeland has also reduced the price of our top-rated heated throw that "costs just 1p an hour to run." The Sherpa Electric Heated Throw that was £89.99 and is now £53.99 is a favourite for the Mirror's shopping writer Narin Flanders who said: "If you're investing in one multi-use product to keep you warm in bed, on the sofa, or sat at your desk the throw is, for my money, the one."
