Christmas is widely considered one of the most joyous times of the year - especially when it's spent surrounded by the company of loved ones.
However, cooking the all-important dinner on the big day can be stressful. Getting to grips with all the different dishes and the time they all take to cook is enough to make anyone stressed out. But it doesn't have to ruin your day, as there's a simple solution that's been launched by the experts at Campbells Meat.
The experts created an online Christmas dinner calculator that is said to save people up to two hours in the kitchen this Christmas, which is handy, given that a survey carried out by the online butchers revealed that two-thirds of people in the UK spend over two hours cooking Christmas dinner, with the average time spent cooking being 2.7 hours.
However, there’s no need to spend that much time in the kitchen, as you can use the calculator to really nail your timings and maximise your downtime.
The Daily Record reported that Stevie Cheape, head chef at Campbells Meat, said: "Cooking for your family and friends on Christmas Day can be quite stressful, with lots of moving parts the dedicated chef for the day can end up spending a lot of time in the kitchen and not around the tree.
