Wolverhampton hosts a nine-race all-weather card on Wednesday evening where Newsboy's Nap, Bradman, runs in the opener (4.30)

BRADMAN is fancied to hit his rivals for six in the opening Bet £10 Get £40 At BetMGM Nursery Handicap (4.30) at Wolverhampton today.

There wasn’t much to write home about in the Charlie Fellowes-saddled son of Australia ’s first three runs – after a debut 11th of 12 at Salisbury in the first week of September, Bradman returned to Wiltshire for a fifth-of-seven finish eight days later before returning last of the septet to contest a Newmarket maiden over seven furlongs at the end of the month.

But the British Horseracing Authority handicapper couldn’t get carried away, and Bradman made his handicap debut from a lowly rating of 51 at over this course and distance last Friday.

Sent off at 16-1 in a field of 11, my selection came home with gusto to finish fourth, beaten a length and a half, to Roman Secret, and can go three places better from the same mark.

At Warwick, KRAQUELINE gets the vote to take her tally over fences to 2-2 by landing the Duncan Smith Over The Hill Birthday Mares’ Novices’ Handicap Chase (2.40).

Kerry Lee’s grey jumped with assurance for a winning start over the larger obstacles at Wincanton last month and an 8lb rise may not be enough to prevent the follow-up.
