Robbie Williams' wife Ayda Field says their children fly economy while they're relaxing in first class.

The 44-year-old shares children Teddy, 11, Charlie, nine, Coco, five, and Beau, three, with 49-year-old Robbie. Actress Ayda revealed that the couple make their four children sit in economy class whenever they fly to teach them that being in first class is a privilege to earn.

Robbie and Ayda have been open about their personal lives from their sex lives and struggles to their parenting techniques. And now, Ayda opened up about how she and the Take That singer make sure their children won't turn out to be 'brats' when they're older.

"My kids fly economy whenever we fly. I turn left and they turn right. That's terrible. I mean, people will think I'm such a d**k," she explained.

Speaking to The Sunday Times, she said: "There's no interest in raising brats. My kids will know [economy] is where they will sit in a plane until they can pay to put themselves in a different part of the plane." Most recently, Ayda opened up about the ban Robbie placed on her when he proposed.

The star was "banned" from discussing wedding plans for months after he dropped down to one knee. Discussing the proposal to Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast, she said: "We were together three years before he proposed and I think in his head that's how long it took him to even come round to that concept. There were three break-ups before that. But he got there."

Ayda continued: "We got engaged and I wasn't allowed to mention the word wedding. Two weeks later, my girlfriend gave me wedding magazines and I brought them into the house and he was like 'What's that? Who said anything about a wedding?' My heart sank. I started in my head to think 'Is this a ring, this is not ok, I'll give it back'."

The actress added: "Five or six months later he took me on a boat for my birthday as a surprise and he gave me a watch. On the watch, it said 'Set a date shipmate'. I thought you had to set the date. And then he was like 'No, you know what that means, let's set a date to get married'."

Robbie and Ayda only had six weeks to plan their wedding day, which they ended up doing in secret. Their guests thought they were attending a James Bond-themed party and only found out it was a wedding moments before the ceremony began. Due to Robbie's superstar status, the couple couldn't have a long honeymoon as he had to work the next day. Despite his busy schedule, they celebrated their 12-year wedding anniversary in August.
