A punter has netted a five-figure windfall after backing three out of four winners in a sensational accumulator bet, two of which came in at monster odds.

The William Hill customer from Manchester staked a total of £3 for a Lucky 15 which comprised four horses running over jumps at Lingfield on Tuesday. With two of the selections available at treble-figure prices, the chances of collecting appeared slim.

But not only did three of the four horses which were picked win, two of them went in at extraordinary prices of 150-1 and 125-1. The other was an 18-1 winner.

The punter struck in the first race at Lingfield when 150-1 chance Ask Her Out, who was making her debut, became trainer Richard Rowe’s first winner in seven months when landing the Weatherbys & Birdie Calendars Open National Hunt Flat Race by a neck.

In the following race, the punter’s next selection Celtic Art struck at 18-1 by winning the John & Paddy Sheehan Memorial Handicap Hurdle by half a length.

Mister Who just missed out when beaten two lengths into second place in the Off The Fence On youtube.com/attheraces Handicap Chase.

But the punter's pockets were bulging after Theyseekhimhere (125-1) got up in the final strides to claim the Watch Off The Fence On attheraces.com EBF National Hunt Novices’ Hurdle, also by a neck.

William Hill spokesperson Lee Phelps, said: “One of our customers in Manchester must be delighted that it’s Jumps season, having correctly predicted three winners at Lingfield in a remarkable £3 Lucky 15.

“150-1 shot Ask Her Out set the bet up nicely, followed by Celtic Art winning at 18-1, Mister Who placing at 5-1 and 125-1 shot Theyseekhimthere winning by a neck. The ridiculous bet has netted them £77,215.80 and it’s certainly been a Tuesday they won’t forget.”
