Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis look ageless in a new sweet snap as they tease the upcoming Freaky Friday sequel.
The 2003 body-swap comedy was a hit with fans two decades ago when it was released, and earlier this year, reports Freaky Friday 2 was to be in the works emerged. Back in February, Jamie Lee teased fans about the sequel during an appearance at the Producers Guild Awards as she said: "It's going to happen. Without saying there's anything officially happening, I'm looking at you in this moment and saying, 'Of course it's going to happen'."

And then in May, it was revealed that, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Elyse Hollander would be writing the script for the much-anticipated sequel before Jamie Lee seemingly confirmed the news on Instagram as she shared a picture of her and Lindsay sitting down for an interview to discuss the possibility of a new film.
"IT'S WACKY WEDNESDAY THAT SHOULD HAVE POSTED ON FREAKY FRIDAY! Duh! Whatev! EXCITED," she wrote. "It's Friday. I'm just sayin! Freaky fingers crossed!", and tagged Lindsay, as well as Disney in the post.

Taking to social media, Jamie Lee shared a gorgeous photo of the duo and dropped a major hint that the new Freaky Friday movie might be in the works.
The actresses, who played mother and daughter in the 2003 flick, cosied up to one another while looking totally ageless. Jamie wrote a caption on her post which read: "Too late. YOU GREW UP and SO BEAUTIFULLY! Well, it's Friday, and the strike is over so hopefully, we can switch places again in the near future! @lindsaylohan @disney."
In the comment section, one fan praised: "She looks EXACTLY like she did in the film! Both of em! God bless!" While someone else begged: "Yesss please please !!!!!!! We need more Freaky Friday."
Freaky Friday follows Tess (played by Jamie Lee) and her daughter Anna (played by Lindsay), whose strained relationship is put to the test when they wake up one Friday and find they have swapped bodies. The hilarious movie was based on Mary Rodgers' 1972 novel. It grossed $160million (£127million) globally.
