Taylor Swift ’s cat is worth $97 million (£80.6 million), according to a new list of the world’s richest pets.
The adorable Scottish Fold, named Olivia Benson after the main character in Law & Order, has made it to the third spot on the The Ultimate Pet Rich List: the Richest Pets in the World on the website .
The site calculated the net worth of the singer’s pet using Instagram data to estimate ‘how much each of these pets could make per Instagram’, and the average number of likes she received with her adorable selfies.

But her cat Olivia Benson is also clawing her way to success after ranking as the third richest pet in the world (GC Images)The website wrote: “The Scottish Fold earned her fortune starring alongside her owner in several music videos, has crafted her own merchandise line, and has had cameos in many big-budget ads, including for the likes of Diet Coke and Ned Sneakers.”
Olivia Benson - the ‘middle child’ of Taylor’s cats, if you will - was adopted back in 2014 by the Lavender Haze hitmaker and has since gone on to capture the hearts of Swifties everywhere with her plush white coat and folded ears.

But Taylor’s kitty isn’t just a social media star - she’s worked for her earnings, too. Olivia Benson has earned screen time in her owner’s music videos for Blank Space (2014) and ME! (2019), as well as her 2020 Netflix documentary, Miss Americana.

She lives a lavish lifestyle and often heads to the red carpet with her famous owner (taylorswift/Instagram)On the singer’s now redundant phone app, The Swift Life, Olivia’s face actually served as a muse for a collection of ‘Taymojis’. She’s even starred in an advert for the US-based phone company AT&T, as well as having her own line of merch in the singer’s store.
But that’s not to say that the cat doesn’t enjoy some of the finer things in life, too. Olivia Benson lives with the singer and her two cat ‘siblings’ Meredith Grey and Benjamin Button.
The quartet often divide their time between her two-storey penthouse apartment in Nashville, Tennessee, as well as her two mansions complete with a swimming pool on Rhode Island and in Beverly Hills, where Olivia Benson can happily curl up on whichever chair or chaise lounge she pleases.

She also served as one third of the inspiration for Taylor's 30th birthday cake (taylorswift/Instagram)Olivia Benson also frequents trips with her famous mum in her $40 million private jet, as well as making red carpet appearances with music icons like Paula Abdul - who the cat was pictured with at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.
The cat was even one third of the inspiration for Taylor’s hyper-realistic 30th birthday cake, which also featured replicas of her kitty siblings, too.
