It's been almost two decades since Rebecca Loos hit headlines for her alleged affair with David Beckham - and a lot has changed for the footballer's former PA over the years.

The success of Posh and Becks' new Netflix docuseries has reignited interest in the Madrid-born model, who notoriously claimed that she had a relationship with the football star in 2004 while he was playing for Real Madrid. David, 48, has always branded her allegations "ludicrous", but has since spoken out about how it had affected his marriage to the former Spice Girl at the time.

"Victoria's everything to me. To see her hurt was incredibly difficult, but we're fighters, and at that time, we needed to fight for each other. We needed to fight for our family, and what we had was worth fighting for, but ultimately, it's our private life," he said in Beckham. "I felt physically sick every day when I opened my eyes."

Rebecca's life is entirely different today, nearly twenty years on from the scandal. In 2008, the former glamour model met her future husband, Sven Christjar Skaiaa, while she was filming 71 Graden Noord, the Dutch version of 71 Degrees North. She moved to Norway with the doctor in 2009 at five months pregnant, and quickly became besotted with the Scandinavian country's stunning nature.

Rebecca has since embraced a wholesome vegan lifestyle with plenty of exercise, meditation and fresh air. Her biggest passion, however, is yoga, which she has been teaching professionally since opening up her own studio in the ski haven of Hemsedal in 2017. She is also the proud mother of two sons, Magnus, 14, and ten-year-old Liam.

As for Sven, Rebecca reportedly married the Norwegian doctor in 2012 nearly four years after they first met. He has an impressive background as a physician, having worked as a medic with the Royal Norwegian Air Force and spent time in the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service. Since 2016, he has served as a Search and Rescue specialist.

Speaking to the Sun in 2018, Rebecca revealed it was she who made the compromise to emigrate from the UK for her Scandinavian husband. "Sven is an outdoor man and mountain lover and was not prepared to move to London - so it was I who moved to Norway so we could bring our son up together," she explained.

"I thought to myself that if it doesn’t work out in Norway I can always move back to London - that was 10 years ago."

Rebecca has also addressed David's discussion of their alleged affair in his Netflix docuseries, slamming the Inter Miami owner's narrative as "misleading."

"I would rather not have to talk about this again. I have moved very much on with my life. And when this documentary came out, and everything happened that happened after the documentary came out, I tried very hard to just let it go and get on with my life," she shared on Good Morning Britain. "But it just really bothered me, how he's played, how we play the narrative and how misleading it is and how it's making me look like a bad person. And of course, I am also guilty. It takes two to tango."

She also spoke about how she told her sons about the alleged affair - and their hilarious responses. Chatting to hosts Richard Madeley and Kate Garraway, she said: "I have two boys, 11 and 14. I did tell them about the documentary and what had been said and how it made mummy feel." Kate then asked: "Had you already told them about what went on 20 years ago?" Rebecca replied: "Yes, they already know. I said I felt it was unfair that I was being bullied and because of that I was going to do an interview and asked them how they feel.

"My youngest son is a bit like me and said 'good for you mummy, yes I would say something too' and my eldest son said 'I don't really know anything about Beckham. It's not like it's Messi mummy, had it been Messi...." At that point the trio break out in laughter and Richard went on to tell her how much she has changed and how relaxed she is now.

She continued: "I had left it all behind me, I'd much rather not be here and talk about this again. I had moved on with my life. But the angle bothered me, how he had played the narrative and how mis-leading it is - and how it made me look the bad person. By David not acknowledging responsibly, he is giving a message that it is OK to behave like this. I think that is the wrong message to give - my message is that you make mistakes, own up to them and move on. He says he is happily married, but there are many men who are happily married and have affairs."
