Arsenal are ready to ramp up discussions with wonderkid Amario Cozier-Duberry as they look to negotiate a new contract amid interest from several rival clubs, according to reports.

Cozier-Duberry is capable of playing as a winger or an attacking midfielder and is on the radar of several clubs in the Premier League and across Europe. It has been reported that discussions are ongoing between the club and their player with the Gunners plotting further talks in the coming weeks and months.

Cozier-Duberry’s current deal expires at the end of the season and Arsenal are aware of the danger of losing a man whom they snapped up as a 14-year-old. He joined from Chettle Court Rangers but is yet to make his professional debut.

The teenager has featured for Arsenal's first team in friendly matches and has made an impact in the club’s youth sides and Jack Wilshere has previously claimed Cozier-Duberry, who has been capped by England's U19s, was "unplayable" and a player who can "make things happen".

Cozier-Duberry enjoyed a key role in Arsenal’s FA Youth Cup campaign last term, registering five goals and three assists across six matches before the north Londoners came up short in the final. He signed his first professional deal with the first team in June 2022 and was part of the pre-season squad which headed across to the United States this summer.

He's been an unused substitute in several Premier League matches last term, but made his first-ever appearance at Emirates Stadium in Arsenal’s final warm-up game last season, ahead of the return of the Premier League post-World Cup, and enjoyed an impressive cameo.

He said at the time: “Making my home debut was a dream come true. It’s something only a few ever get to do and to do it against Juventus, a team with a massive history, is a moment I’ll never forget. I was so nervous beforehand, my feet were numb, but as I stepped on the pitch, I made a few decent passes which helped.

“Hearing my name through the speaker, the fans cheering, and having my family and friends there who have been so supportive of me, was so wonderful.“
