Liverpool supporters and TNT Sports viewers were left baffled during the coverage of the Europa League clash with Toulouse at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp's side raced into an early lead after an excellent solo goal from Diogo Jota but the visitors drew level soon after, following a clinical breakaway.
But viewers were puzzled by the background noise on TNT Sports as commentators Adam Summerton and Rachel Brown-Finniss attempted to describe the action.
The disruptive 'zipping' sound could be heard on multiple occasions during the first half with spectators taking to social media to question what was going on as TNT failed to acknowledge the noise.
One supporter posted: "Sounds like someone is on the decks trying to DJ on the Liverpool game", while another suggested someone 'had a chainsaw next to the microphone'.

Other suggestions from TNT viewers included the sound team unzipping a tent or trying to clean out a Nintendo 64 controller by blowing on it.
Liverpool took the lead thanks to Jota's fine solo goal before Toulouse levelled up with their first attack thanks to a fine finish from Thijs Dallinga.
But the home side restored their lead on the half hour mark as Wataru Endo headed in his first goal for the club after being picked out by Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Liverpool are back in action in the Premier League this weekend as they bid to continue their fine start when they face off against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
The Reds have only lost once this term, in the infamous clash with Tottenham, but were beaten 1-0 by Sunday's opponents at the City Ground last season.
