The accused University of Idaho murder suspect has "threatened to cut" inmates inside jail where he is being held, it is claimed.

Bryan Kohberger, 28, who is accused of stabbing to death four University of Idaho students, has allegedly tried to expose his genitals to a female staff member at the Monroe County Correctional Prison in Pennsylvania, US.

He has also taunted prison staff who are too scared to enter his cell, according to 50-year-old inmate Valerie Cipollina.

She claimed he yelled: "You come in here and I'll cut you", to one security guard.

In addition, it is claimed he said to another guard: "I'm going to pee on your face. Do what you want with me, I don't give a s**t."

Cipollina told the Daily Mai l she was held on a domestic violence charge at Monroe County Jail for six hours on New Year's Day when she heard his alleged outbursts.

She was in a cell opposite Kohberger, who was wearing an orange jumpsuit, and could see his upper body through the glass.

Cipollina said he allegedly tried to expose his genitals to a female prison security staff whilst a guard had to tell him multiple times to put his trousers back on.

In addition, she also claims he was yelling out violent rap lyrics and singing misogynistic lyrics from Bad Bunny songs.

She reportedly told him to shut-up but he reportedly hit back at her and said they should all be scared of him.

He even threatened to cut staff and fellow inmates, according to Cipollina.

Suspect Bryan Kohberger is accused of killing 21-year-old's Kaylee Goncalves and Maddie Mogen, Xana Kernodle and her boyfriend Ethan Chapin, both 20 on November 13.

The four students were stabbed to death in their beds in the early hours at a rental property in Moscow, Idaho.

Kohberger has been charged with four counts of first degree murder and one of felony burglary where he could also face the death penalty.

The suspect is a PhD student at Washington State University. It is not known if he knew of any of the University of Idaho students.

He had just graduated from DeSales University in Pennsylvania in May 2022 with a master of arts in criminal justice.

During his research he had asked social media users for help as he was looking into "emotions and psychological traits influence decision-making when committing a crime."

Kohberger has had no prior arrests.
