San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel has gloated about his team's blowout 42-10 win over the Dallas Cowboys after rival linebacker Micah Parsons suggested a rematch would bring a different result.

"I don't think [the Cowboys] want to see us again," Samuel told the "Up & Adams" podcast. "It might be a little bit worse. ... It was already personal before the game started, and now - 42-10 - I don't think you want to see us again.

"I don't know what we're 'trusting.' [Parsons'] talking about 'We trust,' you know, 'Laugh now, cry later.' I mean, I don't think y'all wanna see us again."

San Francisco and Dallas entered Sunday night as two of the NFC's strongest championship contenders. But the 49ers dominated almost every aspect of the meeting of historic enemies. They ran for 170 yards and intercepted Dak Prescott three times.

Tight end George Kittle celebrated one of his three touchdowns by revealing a "F*** Dallas" shirt underneath his uniform. Parsons, the Cowboys' defensive anchor, didn't like Kittle's profane message.

"I just feel like he's making it way more personal than it had to be," Parsons said on "The Edge with Micah Parsons" podcast. "Kittle's my guy, but I'm going to say this: Laugh now, cry later. We got something for that, just trust. If we see them again, just trust. ... You gonna make it personal? We can make it personal."

Because the Cowboys and 49ers aren't in the same division, they won't meet again in the 2023 NFL regular season. But they could still clash in the playoffs, as they did in the past two campaigns. San Francisco won both of those matchups, 23-17 and 19-12.

With their Week 5 demolition of the Cowboys, the 49ers now have a 5-0 record and have outscored opponents by 99 points. Samuel and his teammates have plenty of reason to be confident, and head coach Kyle Shanahan assured the public that their attitude won't backfire.

"It's honestly been real easy with our guys," Shanahan told reporters. "We've got a real good team in that way. Just going into that game versus Dallas, how hyped that game was and just the way they carried themselves in our building throughout the week, they weren't making much out of it. It was kind of like any other game and just any other week.

"I think we've got a good group of veterans who have been through a lot of stuff, even still guys who were here from our '19 year when we started 8-0. I think the guys who have been here and who have gone through stuff, they passed it to the other guys. It's always our message that nothing can be taken for granted and it's just one week at a time.

"I think everyone preaches that, but I think through our life experiences together and stuff, our guys truly know it. And the guys who haven't been a part of that, they constantly hear it from the guys who have."
