Strictly Come Dancing star, Adam Thomas has posted a lovely tribute to the friendship he has formed with his professional partner, Luba Mushtuk.
The pair have grown close since being matched up on the BBC One show after a tough couple of weeks in the competition, which saw Adam cry after he felt he 'let down' the seasoned dancer.
After last week's tango, Adam declared that Strictly was 'more than a dance show.' Posting to his Instagram, Adam shared gorgeous snaps of Luba with his two children, Teddy and Elsie, as well as selfies with the dancer as she slept on what appeared to be a train.
Adam wrote in the caption of the share: "It’s about character, friendship, family and most of all finding more about yourself than you could possibly imagine!!
"And I wouldn’t change any of it not for one second… because I know the journey am on was meant to happen… so am gonna take the good and the bad and embrace it all!!! One thing I have gained is a friend for life." Luba responded to the post with a series of red hearts emojis, while fellow Strictly celeb, Amanda Abbington commented: "I love you and your beautiful family and our beautiful @lubamushtuk."
Strictly's Molly Rainford and Tyler West fuel romance rumours while on tourIt comes after Adam joked about the infamous Strictly curse after joining the show. Appearing on his brothers Ryan and Scott's podcast, Mancs on the Mic, Adam opened up about his experience on the show as well as some backstage gossip. Shocking his siblings, the actor said: "The Strictly curse has happened. I know...I couldn't believe it myself but me and Luba...."
Before his brothers had a miniature heart attack, Adam quickly quipped: "I'm joking," as Ryan and Scott gasped and laughed at the cheeky joke. Scott soon added: "Everyone says Luba looks like Caroline." Adam agreed with the comparison and replied: "She does...she does."
Ex-Emmerdale star Adam shares his kids with wife Caroline, who he married in August 2017. Earlier in the Strictly process, Adam revealed that being on the show had already caused friction with Caroline, who is a trained dancer and hasn't been sharing any tips with her other half.
Opening up to The Sun at the time, Adam said: "She’s a dance teacher. But no, she’s not given me any tips. We literally had this argument the other day because I was like, 'Why have you not taught me how to dance after all these years I’ve been with you?'
"And she was like, 'Well, you’ve never taught me how to act.' I was like, 'Yeah, very good point actually!'"
Adam continues his Strictly journey tonight, at 6.20pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
