Khloe Kardashian delivered a health update for Tristan Thompson 's younger brother Amari after he was rushed to hospital amid complications from his epilepsy.
During a new episode of The Kardashians, the 39-year-old told her sister Kim Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner about Amari after he had been released from the hospital. She revealed that the young teen was battling "the most severe form of" the neurological disorder.
She shared the prognosis on the show, confirming that "It's bad and good. He's in a really scary place because once he hits age 20 is when it'll be really bad if we can't have any improvements."
Tristan was present during Khloe, Kim and Kris' conversation and sighed before wiping his hands over his face in distress. In a confession, Kris spoke about Khloe's relationship with Tristan and Amari.

Kim Kardashian weighs in on sister feud after Kourtney's sad 'outsider' claimsShe said: "Khloe's compassion for Tristan and Amari is extraordinary and Amari is teaching us a lot of life lessons. Because when you meet Amari, he becomes part of your soul and you can't understand how this happened or why this happened so hopefully it teaches my family that, you know, life is a beautiful thing."
It comes after Khloe and Tristan had a serious talk about their past, present and future in the latest episode of the show. The NBA star moved back in with Khloe following the death of his mother Andrea Thompson.
The basketball player and his younger brother, Amari Thompson, of whom he has become the sole caregiver, had to move into the reality star's home after Tristan's house suffered water damage. Khloe addressed the situation in a confessional, adding that she's in "really sensitive times."
She told viewers: "I'm not naïve to the fact that my ex-boyfriend is living in my house. We're in really sensitive times. Tristan is in the very fresh stages of grieving. Without me being an a**hole all the time, I still want to make sure that boundaries are set, they're in place and there's just full transparency and honesty."
"I think going down the journey I've been on, especially with what happened to my mom, I ask myself, 'Why do certain things to hurt certain people?'" he asked Khloe. "The thing that sticks to my mind: I know how much I care about you, I know how much I love you. You're my best friend. How come I meet my person, how come I've done so much wrong things to do. Why put you through that?"
Khloe added that while she wasn't saying she didn't believe him and that she's a "hopeless romantic" at heart, none of that would "change how I feel and what happened." Earlier in the series, she insisted that the former couple haven't reconciled their romantic relationship.
