John Lewis has launched a number of Christmassy items, including but not limited to, advent calendars. One that stands out amongst the range is the £95 Wine Advent Calendar that gives you a tipple every day in the run up to Christmas.
The advent calendar is a classic 24 doored countdown to Christmas, but instead of chocolate there's a 187ml bottle of wine for each night. It's enough for a solid glass and to help you decide which wines you like best - maybe you're a fan of Merlot without realising?
There are bottles of white, red and rose wine in the calendar with ABVs ranging from 11% to 13.5%. There are a range of different brands including Founders Stone, Silver Creek, Waters Edge, Yarra Creek and more.
The box includes 24 small bottles of wine, each having 187ml of wine inside, which are perfect for a single glass. If you're wanting to share it could be a good option for tastings and then ordering full sized bottles of the ones you like.
You can indulge in a bottle each night in December or save them for the weekend to have a wine tasting session at home with a few. There's quite a range of bottles, including:
