Loose Women pose in leggings as they drop campaign to celebrate body diversity
Loose Women stars posed in sports bras and leggings as they announced the return of their Body Stories campaign.
The campaign aims to celebrate body diversity as well as highlight the importance of representation on television.
It comes after 75 per cent of their viewers admitted they don't look in the mirror due to how it makes them feel.
Meanwhile, six in ten women feel like there isn't enough body diversity in the media.
Panellists Carol McGiffin, Dame Kelly Holmes, Gloria Hunniford, Judi Love, Katie Piper and Sophie Morgan all took part in the Celebrating Every Body campaign.
Adam Thomas says devastating Waterloo Road plot helped him grieve for late dadKatie said in the promo video: "Change doesn’t happen from one person, it happens from a group of people who have the same passion."
Meanwhile, Dame Kelly explained to viewers: "For me, it’s about being comfortable with who I am. We all deserve to live the life we want to live."
The editor of the ITV1 show, Sally Shelford, added: "Loose Women’s Body Stories campaign was originally launched in 2017 to inspire and promote body confidence for all of our viewers.
"We are so proud that it is returning for International Women's Day with a powerful, joyful shoot and an equally powerful message on the importance of celebrating and seeing body diversity."
Meanwhile, the Loose Women star recently said goodbye to their beloved head of makeup after 20 years on the show.
Earlier this month, Nadia Sawalha, Kaye Adams, Carol and Jane Moore all presented the show, where they were joined by Jordan North and EastEnders boss Chris Clenshaw to talk about their projects.
However, at the end of the episode, the camera panned over to Ruth Langsford who was sitting next to Donna May Clitheroe, the star who's leaving.
Ruth sat alongside Donna May and said it was a privilege to be working with her all these years, as they all thanked her for helping them look the best every day with her makeup artist skills.
Speaking at the end of the show, Kaye said: "Before we go, we have to say after 20 years, this is the last day of our dear friend Donna May. The heart of our make up room. She's sat there with Ruth, I don't think Ruth's going to let her go."
A Loose Women Body Stories special will air on International Women’s Day at 12.30pm on ITV1 & ITVX*
