There was a shocking scene at an NFL game this weekend as a fan appeared to be snorting a white substance at California’s SoFi Stadium while the Los Angeles Chargers took on the Las Vegas Raiders.

Footage has emerged on social media of a fan, who appeared to be supporting the Raiders, with his head down while dipping one of his keys into a small packet that contained the white substance.

He then appeared to snort it up his nose before yelling “Wooo!” along with others around him. The caption alongside the footage read: “Raiders got me down and out,” with two crying emojis.

All Raiders fans were left disappointed as the Chargers recorded their second victory of the season with a 24-17 win. Las Vegas lost another game by a margin of one touchdown or less for the 11th time since the start of the 2022 season. Now on a three-game losing streak frustrations within the Raiders ranks are increasing.

"It's undisciplined football, and this league is too competitive," running back Josh Jacobs said. "It's too competitive and it's too many guys that's good out there to not do the little things right every play. Until we figure that out, this is going to be what it is. It's frustrating, man. And I mean, I feel like every day I go in there and work my ass off. So, eventually, something's got to give."

The Chargers were firmly in control of proceedings at halftime with a healthy 17-point lead. But they failed to score in the second half and rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell helped to inspire a comeback.

A Daniel Carson field goal in the third quarter and a subsequent one-yard touchdown from Jacob with four minutes remaining gave the Raiders a chance to complete a remarkable turnaround. But the Chargers held firm and recorded the victory, despite an injury to Herbert.

He suffered a finger injury that resulted in a splint on the left middle finger of his non-throwing hand. The player said the injury occurred when his finger got stuck in a helmet after he threw an interception that was caught by Raiders cornerback Tre'von Moehrig.

After leaving the game for treatment, Herbert returned later in the game but his performance was clearly impacted. It was revealed on Monday he sustained a fracture but the Chargers do have a bye week coming up before an Oct. 16 Monday night meeting with the Dallas Cowboys.
