Neighbours' much-loved identical twins Christina and Caroline Alessi now look totally different decades on from their soap days.

Gayle and Gillian Blakeney are now 57-years-old and found fame on the Australian soap in the 90s. The twins had their fair share of dramatic storylines over the years with a dramatic welcome. Just after moving to Ramsay Street, the twins were put under witness protection after seeing a murder unfold in an explosive storyline. They even made the most out of being identical twins as they pretended the be the same person.

Christina and Caroline adopted the persona of Linda Giles before they were uncovered by local baddie, Paul Robinson. They also got involved in a sea of romances with Christina marrying Paul, only for Caroline to have fallen for his charm and leave the neighbourhood. Gayle and Gillian left the Aussie soap at different times in 1992. They returned for three episodes in 2019 before leaving acting for good.

After Neighbours, the sisters started a band called The Twins where they released three tracks - All Mixed Up, Mad If Ya Don't and Wanna Be Your Lover. They decided to ditch their life Down Under for California. Both Gayle and Gillian live in the US with their partners and children. They even became pregnant at the same time and gave birth within weeks of each other.
