At some point in a child's life, parents will often experience the iconic 'potato head phase'. For those who unaware, it's a human drawing which often resembles the iconic Pixar Toy Story character Mr. Potato Head.

While most people are full with a loving sense of pride at their child's artwork, the iconic potato-like drawings often are unintentionally hilarious. Drawing a photo in the iconic 'potato' design, a three-year-old girl left her parents in hysterics with her masterpiece.

The drawing, which has been shared on Reddit by user sunnyismybunny, has been upvoted more than 9,000 times. Sharing the artwork to the popular forum, a man admits that his daughter's mum 'can't stop laughing' at the portrait.

Taking to the comment section, one person wrote: "I always called it potato head phase. Everybody is just a round shape with a face and four sticks representing legs/arms."

Meanwhile, a second said: "It's not like we have the actual looks of the person to compare it to. Maybe he does indeed look like that."

"I assume that's why the wife keeps laughing," a third replied.

"Are you Conan O'Brien?" Someone joked.

While the photo was undoubtedly hilarious, several people were in stitches by the child's photo - others were rather impressed by the artwork.

A Reddit user said: "That's pretty good for a three-year-old!"

"Yeah that's really advanced for a 3 year old," a second agreed.

A third praised: "This is amazing!!! Talented kid!"

A fourth person wrote: "That's actually very good for a three-year-old. Most kids brain development struggle with placement of body parts up until around the age of five to six."
