Coronation Street actress Sally Dynevor has received an outpouring of support from her co-stars and fans following a special announcement.
The actress, known for her role as Sally Metcalfe (nee Webster) on the ITV soap, expressed her pride on social media when her eldest daughter, Phoebe, appeared on the cover of the latest ELLE USA magazine. Sally shared the cover image featuring the Bridgerton star, along with another glamorous photo from the shoot. This comes as Phoebe is set to take on a leading role as Emily in Fair Play.
Fair Play, set in New York City, revolves around two individuals working at the same hedge-fund firm who find themselves entangled in a complex relationship. After their engagement, an unexpected promotion significantly alters their relationship dynamics.
Sally shared this proud moment on her Instagram page, stating: "Proud mum moment. Elle USA October. FairPlay is in selected cinemas from 29th September and Netflix from 6th October." Among the first to respond were her fellow Corrie stars Samia Longhchambon, who wrote: "Oh my goodness! Amazing." and Sally Ann Matthews, who simply said: "Stunning." Jane Danson replied: "AMAZING Sal." while Sally Carman-Duttine commented: "This is fantastic!"

But Phoebe and Sally aren't the only actresses in their household, with her daughter Hattie also following in her famous mum's footsteps. Earlier this year, the budding star landed a role in the BBC revival of Waterloo Road. The school-based drama is the same show which helped launch her sister's career 14 years ago.
A source said: "Hattie bagging a part on Waterloo Road sees the Dynevors become a real acting dynasty. "It is a no-brainer for the show and a shrewd move for her too. Not many fledgling stars would get a part on such a big drama so early in their career. "But they're confident she has the skills to do the job — after all the ability to perform runs in the family," they added to The Sun.
