John Terry has joked that Tottenham will be making "another DVD" after beating his beloved Chelsea 2-0 on Sunday.

Spurs cruised to victory thanks to second-half goals from Oliver Skipp and Harry Kane, condemning the lifeless Blues to their third successive loss. Post-match, as Graham Potter desperately pleaded for more time as Chelsea manager, one boastful Tottenham fan took the opportunity to mock Terry on Twitter by posting: "Have that you c***," and his response was simple.

"Long time since you've seen one of these," the legendary ex-Blues captain replied alongside a series of trophy emojis. "Another DVD incoming," Terry added with a clown face.

Spurs have previously produced DVDs to commemorate memorable wins against London rivals Chelsea, and although Sunday's performance was a solid one, we don't expect it to be in demand for home viewing. Nevertheless, Tottenham - managed by Cristian Stellini in the continued absence of boss Antonio Conte, who recently underwent an operation to remove his gallbladder - kept up their fine home form by comfortably beating the Blues.

22-year-old Skipp scored a cracker just 30 seconds into the second half to notch his first goal in 44 first-team appearances, before Kane grabbed his 20th in all competitions this season. The pair's goals gave Spurs their third victory in a row on home soil.

Meanwhile, defeat for Chelsea leaves under-fire boss Potter facing mounting pressure, having won just one of his 11 games since the turn of the year. "I think whenever you hear those results, I know the responsibility, they're not good enough for this club," the former Brighton manager admitted to Sky Sports post-match.

"They're not good enough for us, we're not happy with them. We have to understand the moment we're in but at the same time I take full responsibility for those results. It isn't good enough for Chelsea. We want to try and improve it, absolutely. I thought the players were there on the pitch, they were giving everything, I had no complaints with how they were."

As for the much more pleased Stellini, he told BBC Sport : "Our desire was there to win, play a great game and to fight for every ball and we are happy for the fans, the club and of course for us and Antonio who is still at home." The Italian coach, filling for Conte for the third game, added: "My expectation is that Antonio will be back this week."

Goalscorer Kane, who took his Premier League tally for the campaign to 18, also noted: "Chelsea have been a difficult opponent for us over the last few years, so it's a really important win to keep us around fourth. Overall, I thought we deserved the win."
