Beachgoers try to haul a massive shark back into the ocean in dramatic footage as it thrashes wildly and gnashes its teeth at them.
The four brave Florida beachgoers overcame their terror as they tried to drag the stranded shark back into the odeon by its tail after it became stranded on the sands of Pensacola Beach. Several men tried to help the huge creature back into the sea by trying to drag it backwards by the tail off the beach and into the water. However as the men edge closer in their rescue attempt the mighty predator lashes out at them - thrashing its tail and threatening them with its teeth.
Screams can be heard in video of the terrifying incident as those gathered at the scene gasp in fear as the shark thrashes in the shallows. “After a few seconds of seeing it struggle to get back in the water, my husband took charge to try to help it,” one eyewitness explained.

The beast was massive (Tina Fe/X)“Look at them freakin' teeth!’” one bystander can be heard to exclaim as the beachgoers try to manoeuvre the shark back into deeper water. One witness estimated the shark to weigh as much as 600 pounds - and it took the combined strength of several men to see it back afloat, to the horror of some onlookers. “Babe, it's too dangerous, don't be doing that,” one woman can be heard saying.

However the rescue was a success and ended with the huge fish making its way back into the ocean - cheered on by those on the beach. “We were sitting on the beach just having a good time and my buddy just said, 'Look out in the water there, man.' I see that fin and I was like, yeah, it was two or three sandbars away from us,' Josh Fey, one of the rescuers reportedly told WKRG.

A job well done“Eventually it just turned to the left and started coming directly beeline toward the shoreline, and I said, "That's a big shark coming in. And we thought it was chasing some bait or whatnot, but it came all the way to shoreline and beached itself.” Makos are among the most dangerous sharks in the world, known for their ferocious bite with 10 recorded attacks on humans. They can grow up to 13 feet long and are the fastest sharks in the seas, capable of massive leaps out of the water.
